For those of you unfamiliar with NPA or are new to the area, NPA was organized in Winston-Salem in 1985, and exists to provide NC continuing education (CE) credit eligible meetings and advocate for pharmacists’ issues with state and local governments.  We also provide a conduit for pharmacists to express concerns to state pharmacy associations. 

Our meetings are available on the Zoom video conferencing platform and sometimes in person.  In person meetings are also a great place to network with your pharmacy colleagues, meet new friends, and catch up with old ones.  We promise to make you a little smarter every meeting.

We have at least 8 CE meetings (with dinner when we can!) per year (lately as many as 10), usually 2 hours CE credit each.  Most are for NC credit only, approved by NCAP, accepted by NCBOP and ptcb.  Sometimes we have an outside sponsor or grant and provide ACPE credit.  Otherwise our meetings and food are paid for entirely with your dues.  

To join, click on the Join Us button on this page and choose Paid by Check membership type.  You can bring a check payable to NPA to the first meeting of each calendar year that you attend, or mail it to our PO Box 25362, WS NC  27114.  Our dues are per calendar year:  $95/RPh and $45/CPhT or $25 per meeting.
